Hi, I’m Nevaeh, and I’m proud to be a first-generation college graduate, U.S. Army service member, and a certified Community Health Worker serving as the Community Health Advocate at High Sierra AHEC. In my current role, I am dedicated to expanding access to care in rural and underserved areas, supporting the growth of our programs and helping bridge the gap in healthcare access where it's needed most. Coming from a Native American community with deep cultural roots, I understand the importance of culturally relevant care and the power of health education in driving long-term, positive outcomes. I am passionate about community health and committed to building supportive, inclusive environments where everyone feels seen, heard, and cared for—especially in communities that have historically been overlooked. When I’m not working in the community, I love spending time with my family and friends, powerlifting, and diving into a good book.
