About the event
Join us for the Pre-Professional Health Summit, a student-led conference dedicated to exploring critical healthcare issues through interprofessional education and peer-to-peer collaboration. This year, we are focusing on Interprofessional Education (IPE) in undergraduate settings, specifically for undergraduate students. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Sara North, a renowned IPE expert from the University of Minnesota, who runs an innovative IPE program as our Keynote Speaker.
In addition, we are collaborating with Radiologic Technologists (RT), Occupational Therapists (OT), TMCC Dental, TMCC Radiology, Nursing, Physician Assistants (PAs), clinical leads, and the HIV/STI departments to create interactive sessions for students centered around IPE. These sessions will provide invaluable hands-on experience, encouraging students to collaborate across disciplines.
This event brings together students, educators, community partners, and local health and public health professionals to discuss pressing challenges, share insights, and develop solutions for improving healthcare services and community support. This summit is highly recommended for…
